08:32 pm I really shouldn't let myself get behind on homework so soon after the end of break, but this assignment is pointless. If the teacher is just going to make us spit back facts and figures from the textbook, it should at least be interesting. This review packet thing is just a big hassle and a waste of time, in my opinion. Still, I should work on it. I mean, I have to do it, and it's due tomorrow. Maybe I can finish it up really quickly at lunchtime? Not that putting it off any more is going to make doing it more appealing... I'll probably get in trouble with the folks back home if I don't keep my grades up, too, so... I guess I'll just get it over with before I go to bed. 08:47 pm Well, it's a bit late to go costume shopping now, but I guess I can still throw something together for tomorrow. Really, I'm pretty excited. I can't say I've ever been to a Halloween celebration like this before, even if I know more about it than some of the other people here seem to. So, what's everyone else doing to get ready? 10:02 pm You know, I feel kind of let down by this whole school thing. I was really excited for it to start, but it's turned out to be pretty boring. The work is too easy and I know everything they're trying to teach already. I guess the old men taught me well before sending me here. They probably weren't concerned with my entertainment, anyway. 10:26 pm Hah! Carnation West wasn't hard to find at all. Good thing, too. This place is pretty big, so it wouldn't be any good if I were to get lost. Maybe I'll have to find someone who can show me around the school, or will at least walk along with me so there's two of us together. I'd like to check out the rest of it soon... But, not tonight. Too late for that. I guess exploring will have to wait until morning. So, I'm supposed to introduce to everyone with this thing, right? That's what the person at the front desk told me, anyway. So... I'm Kaworu Nagisa. I'll be in the eighth grade when the semester starts. This is the first time I've ever been somewhere with so many people, so it'd be really great if I could make some friends.
